1. How often is a complete watch service necessary?

   - For mechanical watches – every 4 – 5 years is recommended by the manufacturers

   - For quartz watches – every 7 years

2. How often should gaskets be controlled and replaced?

   Manufacturers recommend that diver’s watches are tested for water resistance before every diving season.

   Gasket replacement is recommended every 2 years.

3. Can the battery remain in the watch after it has stopped working?

   The battery should be removed as soon as the watch stops working in order not to damage the movement.

4. Is it harmful for the mechanical watch if it is not used?

   It is better that the watch is used, especially for the elastic parts of the movement (main spring and balance spring).
